After a new member joins, the Gym Manager will get in touch to arrange a convenient date and time for an introduction. During this session, the manager will provide a tour of the facilities, answer questions, and activate the member’s PIN. They will also carry out a personal health assessment, discuss any adjustments that may be required, and agree on a Personal Evacuation Plan if assistance would be needed in an emergency.
Once this process is complete, the PIN is activated and the member can begin using the gym.

A carer is allowed to accompany a member to the gym, however if they wish to use the equipment they will need to join alongside the member. They will need to complete a peep/member health assessment so the management team are aware of the support the carer will need to give etc, and also advise the carer on the ways to enter and exit the gym.
Is The Gym Group gyms accessible for disabled people?

What does freezing a membership mean?
Freezing your membership is a great way to retain your membership. Whether you are going on holiday or returning from injury, freezing means you don’t need to cancel and pay a Joining Fee when you come back – so it’s a great way to help you save! Check to ensure your membership package allows you to do this and if there is a limit on how many times you can freeze your membership. More information can be found in their support hub.
I haven't used the gym, how can I get a refund?
The Gym Group are only able to offer a refund if you cancel your membership within the first 14 days of your membership. If you've used the gym within this time, your refund will be proportionate.
You can cancel your membership at any time, but if you lose access straight away, you can contact us to ensure you still have access to the gym for the time that has been paid for.
Unfortunately, The Gym Group do not provide refunds for unused memberships. If you no longer wish to be a member of The Gym Group, you must cancel your membership before your billing date.
